Product quality For Scavolini, quality means using robust, reliable materials which also feature a design that lasts, so that the price of the product is reflected in its genuine value. Scavolini devotes attention to its products under several aspects in order to satisfy its customers, aspects that take on concrete form at every level of the company: design, manufacture, training, lab checks and tests, a thorough supplier selection process and much more.
Quality control Scavolini, ever attentive to quality, adopts a series of measures in order to guarantee the characteristics of its products. Some of these can be verified with specific visual checks. In other cases, in order to verify the performance characteristics of the products/materials, specific lab tests must be carried out. Scavolini carries out more than 600 lab tests on products and materials every year. These are carried out both internally, in the fully equipped test lab, and externally, in prominent qualified testing facilities.
The Scavolini warranty What does Scavolini S.P.A. Guarantee: in accordance with the terms and conditions illustrated below, Scavolini S.p.A. guarantees the modular kitchen units and living-room units produced by Scavolini S.p.A. for defects arising from the manufacturing process which appear within the deadline of 5 years (60 months) from 24.00 of the day in which the kitchen/living leaves the Scavolini S.p.A. warehouse for shipping to the SCAVOLINI product dealer. After the aforementioned period of 5 years (60 months) has elapsed, this warranty loses all effect/validity.
this warranty is provided solely and exclusively for the consumer who first purchases the Scavolini product and it may not therefore be transferred, even if the kitchen/living is sold to a third party.
excluded from this warranty are all items that are not units for modular kitchens (e.g. electrical appliances and mixers) or units for living areas (e.g. TV), and Scavolini S.p.A. consequently accepts no responsibility for these items. Also excluded from this warranty are those units for kitchen/living or parts of them which already have their own manufacturer’s warranty. For everything excluded from this warranty, every dispute must be addressed to the manufacturers according to the indications of the manufactures themselves.
for the warranty to be applicable, it is necessary that:
a) the kitchen or the living is used for domestic and not professional purposes and also that it is installed in a location within the dwelling and that said location is suitable, meeting the minimum health requirements to be considered habitable (e.g. humidity, temperature, etc.);
b) the kitchen or living has been fitted correctly by personnel in possession of the necessary qualifications;
c) the kitchen or living has been maintained according to the instructions in the instruction booklet that comes with the product and that suitable cleaning products have been used;
d) the kitchen or living has not been subject to negligence and/or neglect and has been used in an appropriate manner;
e) the kitchen or living has not been tampered with;
f) the defect is not due to normal wear and tear or cuts, scratches or damage caused by impact;
g) the defect is not due to a natural disaster or exceptional circumstances.
despite the quality of manufacture of the kitchen/living, manufacturing defects cannot be ruled out. Should Scavolini S.p.A. identify a manufacturing defect in relation to that reported by the consumer, Scavolini S.p.A. undertakes to produce for the SCAVOLINI product dealer the element (or part of the element) as a replacement under warranty for the element or part of the element in which manufacturing defects emerged or will arrange for it to be repaired. Aside from the cost of the piece (or part of the same) or the repair costs, all other costs remain under the responsibility of the consumer, including for instance the costs of shipping the piece from Scavolini to the dealer, any fixed call-out charge, any labour costs, etc…. All such costs are to be paid directly to the Scavolini product dealer who will carry out the intervention. The choice of whether to replace or repair is made at the complete and unconditional discretion of Scavolini S.p.A., as too the recognition or otherwise of the presence of a manufacturing defect is at the complete and unconditional discretion of Scavolini S.p.A. Should the material for the intervention not be available due to the product purchased by the consumer being discontinued or to warehouse stock having run out, material for other product chosen by Scavolini S.p.A. will be used/supplied, and consequently materials others than those of the product in the possession of the consumer, but equal in value to the defective materials. Replacement or repair do not extend the duration of this warranty, which will in all circumstances expire after 5 years (60 months) starting from 24.00 of the day in which the kitchen/living leaves the Scavolini S.p.A. warehouses for shipping to the SCAVOLINI product dealer, also for the fittings/elements replaced. In the presence of a manufacturing defect, the consumer’s only right of claim, if the conditions are present, is the replacement an/or repair of the defective elements, excluding claims for damages, expenses, etc.
The consumer who intends to activate the warranty must contact the SCAVOLINI product dealer in which they made the purchase, showing the “warranty code” that Scavolini S.p.A. issues at the same time that the kitchen/living is shipped and which has been attached to the back of this brochure. Any defect must be reported within 30 days of it being noted.
This warranty is subject to Italian law, and every dispute will be subject to Italian jurisdiction and that of the Court of Pesaro (Italy).

in accordance with the terms and conditions illustrated below, Scavolini S.p.A. guarantees the bathroom furnishings produced by Scavolini S.p.A. for defects arising from the manufacturing process which appear within the deadline of 5 years (60 months) from 24.00 of the day in which the bathroom leaves the Scavolini S.p.A. warehouse for shipping to the SCAVOLINI product dealer. After the aforementioned period of 5 years (60 months) has elapsed, this warranty loses all effect/validity.
