Privacy policy for marketing and profiling activities

3. Purposes and legal basis of processing

MARKETING: Your personal data will be processed by Scavolini spa for marketing purposes (for instance to send you newsletters, for market research, special offers, advertisements, information, etc….). These activities may be carried out through traditional and/or electronic communication tools (text messages, e-mails, phone calls, etc.) in order to fulfil your request to stay up-to-date with our marketing activities, as you expressly requested by filling in the form herein. The legal basis of processing is your consent (see Art. 6, paragraph 1, point a) of Reg. (EU) 2016/679 - GDPR). These data will also be processed using electronic tools, registered in dedicated databases, and used strictly and solely to accommodate your request to stay up-to-date with our marketing activities. Failure to provide your data will make it impossible for us to accommodate your request;

PROFILING: your personal data will be processed for profiling purposes to enable us to perform targeted marketing activities (for instance to send you communications, for market research, promotional/advertising initiatives, information, etc…) according to your preferences, using profiling and navigation cookies, and/or by asking you questions using dedicated tools on our websites (such as “customer care” and “product registration”) as well as preferences shown when you download contents from the website (e.g. “catalogue request”). As regards the profiling cookies, should you authorise profiling, these will be set in such a way as to manage preference analysis activities, even if you previously refused. Your cookie preferences can be edited at any time by accessing the website: https://www.scavolini.com/ww/cookie-policy: future refusal of profiling cookies will make it impossible for Scavolini to proceed with profiling activities on the website. The collection of these data, subject to your authorisation, will allow us to send you information about our products, services, events and more generally communications of various natures we deem could be of interest to you and relevant to the information you provided us with. Moreover, by analysing and assessing the data you previously authorised, we will be able to send you commercial offers which in our opinion meet your needs. The profiling activity within our websites may be cross referenced with the information collected on social media (for which we encourage you to read the related Privacy Policies which set out the policies regarding Personal Data Protection applied to each Supplier) in order to create customised advertising. All the above-mentioned activities may be carried out using traditional and/or electronic communication tools (text messages, e-mails, phone calls, etc.). The legal basis of processing is your consent (see Art. 6, paragraph 1, point a) of Reg. (EU) 2016/679 - GDPR).  

 

4. Recipients of personal data

In order to fulfil the purposes set out herein above, the Controller may disclose your personal data to third-party subjects, if necessary appointed by contract as data processors, such as, for example, those belonging to the following subjects and categories of subjects:

  • other companies bound by contract to the Controller who perform, for instance, consulting activities, support for the provision of services, etc.;
  • Companies that are part of the SCAVOLINI group

The Controller guarantees the utmost care to ensure the disclosure of your personal data to the above-mentioned recipients concerns only the data necessary to fulfil the specific purposes for which they are intended. Your personal data are kept in the Controller’s databases and will be processed solely by authorised personnel. The latter will be provided with specific instructions as to the methods and purposes of processing. Moreover, these data will not be disclosed to third parties, except in those cases envisaged herein above and, in any case, within the limits set out herein. Lastly, please remember that your personal data will not be disseminated.

 

5. Data storage period

We will store the data:
for purpose MARKETING: until you withdraw your consent;
for purpose PROFILING: until you withdraw your consent and in any case for a maximum of 3 years from the date you provided your consent. Subsequently, we may ask you for your consent again, failing which we will be unable to conduct profiling activities.

 

6. Your rights

With reference to the personal data processed by Scavolini, you may exercise the rights envisaged by Chapter III of EU Regulation 2016/679 within the limits and conditions envisaged by the Regulation cited. 7. Right to complain

Data subjects who believe that the processing of the personal data referring to them conducted through this website takes place in breach of the provisions of the Regulation have the right to lodge a complaint with the Personal Data Protection Authority, as envisaged in Art. 77 of the Regulation itself, or to institute proper legal proceedings (Art. 79 of the Regulation)
