If you do not have a no-frost self-defrosting model, ice and frost can become a tiresome enemy which, over time, may lead to malfunctioning and increased energy consumption.
If this sounds familiar to you, we would advise you to defrost your appliance at least three times a year, possibly with the changing of the seasons.
-Remove all food from the refrigerator; throw away any products past their “Use by” date and place any which can still be used in another refrigerator (or cool bag);
-Switch off the refrigerator by unplugging it and lay some cloths or towels (or even a bowl) on the floor;
-Wait for approximately one hour, to let the ice and frost dissolve completely;
