The concept of Qi bathroom furniture project - the collection designed by the collaboration between Scavolini and Nendo, the world-famous Japanese studio run by Oki Sato - is for the room to “disappear” into two objects in pursuit of absolute freedom of design: a container, with a truly unique design, and a wood finish shelf with a minimalist appearance (Qi, in Japanese, also means container and wood) which can be configured in many ways to suit all interior décor styles. Two warm and exclusive wood effect decorative melamines (Hono Elm and Kuuki Elm) clad the entire compositions, or they can also be combined with gloss and matt lacquered colours available from Scavolini’s extensive range.
The welcoming, soft and matt shape of the washbasins is the perfect partner for the styling of the Qi bathroom furniture by Scavolini.
Qi Cristalplant® floorstanding monobloc washbasins with slanted mirrors and the large shelf in Hono Elm Decorative Melamine, KI Cristalplant® washbasins on the H.10 cm Hono Elm laminate top which replicates the shape of the container or washbasin designed by Nendo only for this project. All the elements characterize this model of Scavolini Bathroom range emphasising the strikingly simple and contemporary styling of the bath room.
Qi lamps in painted white metal are the perfect accessories to offer the setting effective lighting whatever the time of day.
An exclusive design for the suspension lamps are an interesting customisation element: designed especially for this collection, they can be combined with shelves in the 26 cm depth, where cut-outs can be made or the lamp itself to be inset.
The lamps have also been designed to highlight the areas of the Cristalplant® washbasins.
